I have loved WRX's for years, but have never owned one. As i am getting older, when i talk with people about getting a new car and tell them i am looking at a WRX they say "isnt that a kids car?" and look at me funny. So here is the question to anyone that has purchased a new WRX/STI since 2008. What age were you when you purchased the car and do you regret it?

EDIT:

Just so you know what the Subaru Market Research team has found:

I purchased my 2005 WRX back in May after turning 19. Man, I feel really young. Haha. But I guess you could say I'll be around 24 years old when I purchase my "new" STI. That's my goal! Lol
i joined this forum when i was 18. i'm 25 now. stick around, learn a lot & drive safely :) [ps: when you're 24, your goals will probably change and you will put that $30,000 towards a house lol!]

My first forum response!

I recently bought my first WRX. 2013 WR Wagon. I went to the dealership to find out how much a 2015 would cost me, but I absolutely love the outgoing generations wagon body style. They had a 2013 WR WRX Wagon in the lot with 26k miles, so the rest is history.

Anyways, I'm 26 years old and have dreamed of owning a WRX since I first saw them racing in the WRC. I grew up idolizing Collin McCrae and was devastated in 2007 when he passed. Every time I walk up to or away from my WRX I have a huge grin on my face.
