Saw a Blue 2011

I saw a Blue 2011 wrx drive by yesterday. Don't know how i felt about the color, and i still just can't stand the new wing they put on it!!

what's everyone else think of them?

just like 04-07 sti's, i think the spoiler is ridonkulous.

& the '11s spoiler seems to be even bigger than usual.

i still dont like the sedans, however i'm REALLY loving the '11 wrx hatch

i think it does too....my bad...i didn't put sti on my earlier post.

but i think the reason that i'm disliking the newer bodies more and more is because they don't have as straight and hard lines. the older models fender flares, and door grooves, and such are much more apparent by just looking. The newest models 08-11 look much softer and more "elegant" curved lines.

This is all IMO. agree to disagree I just always looked at the impreza to be more "mean" or "powerful" looking with the hard straight lines.

The hatches do look nice! i've yet to see one till now. and the sedans looks good as well...i was just sayin how i hate the new wing. but again everyone has there own opinion right?

also i think that a line in the doors like the older models would be nice.

I've seen a couple of plasma blue hatches; looks like more of a nitro purple to me though.

No excuse to have not seen the STI sedan yet since I'm a block away from the dealership, just lazy.

I think the new STi wing looks better than previous years'. It's much lower to the body and that adds to the profile of the car. Granted it does look like it is arching a bit but hey, we can't win 'em all!

Im still 19 so ive always liked the STi wing. It is functional though and gives some downforce at higher speeds. For when I dont wanna rock the wing though I have my CF decklid.

Thats the part I like most about it, it is completely functional in providing down force. Sure it looks silly but it works.

I like the audacity of the STi wing but have been torn on the aesthetics. Depending on my mood or the time of day I could look at the new or old STi wing and either think it fits and looks cool or just looks a bit too boy racer.

No doubt on the hatch wing though, looks good imo!
