Post pics of your Workbenches/Garage
i dont know if there is a thread out there on the topic yet but hey what the hell i decided to make one anyway. I was just looking at my garage and i got the idea that other subie owners might want to see pictures of peoples workbenches to maybe get ideas or to simply see where the magic happens in the garage
so feel free to post pics of your garage/workbenchs. i will have pics up soon.

Just a simple, stout bench I made last year. I've yet to add another sheet of 3/4" to the top along with some hardboard. Also need to add a vise. Need to buy a tool cabinet to put the chest on as well to free up work space.

Nice build. Ours is just an old heavy wood door we had to replace in our house because it had warped along the top pretty badly. So we killed two birds with one stone we built a quick frame and threw the door on top. Works out well, we just have too much junk in our basement for it to be practical.
...When my grandpap found online shopping, he supplied our entire extended family with every piece of hardware imaginable coincidentally.

Thanks. Doors make great tops. I realized there were two very heavy solid core wood doors in our office basement just after I finished that one. I'll have to steal one before it's too late.

Yeah, it really did make a good top in all honesty if it fits. We just made our support to fit the door. I just wish we didn't have so much crap so I could actually use it. In the long run, it will work out better. When I buy a house, my dad will be anxious to give me a lot of the stuff downstairs to give him some more space.

That is going into my parents house though only cause I rent at a buddy's house and there's no garage. I'll be tranferring stuff to my own house whenever I'm not broke enough to buy
