Put in a 05 transmission in about 3 months ago because the old one had a bad tailshaft bearing and I got a good deal on the 05. Put in a new clutch and flywheel at the same time (the old trans. still had original clutch and flywheel). Other than timing belts and AC expansion valve, havent had any major problems. Car still runs great. It has minor issues every once in a while, but nothing I can't repair myself.
    Fantabulous!!

2001 WRX? Thought they didn't make them until 2002?

2002 model year, but mine was actually built in May of 2001.

Well yes, that's how every car is. Mine is a 2005 model year, but it was built in 2004. That doesn't make it a 2004 though
