Because of the year and mileage plus some suspension damage along with the body parts.
What got damaged suspension wise?
You should buy it back from the insurance company for cheap.
Looks like a hit like that could do some frame damage from the side as well...mashing the pillars like that can counter the structural integrity of the car.

133k '05 WRX wagon, replaced timing belt, turbo and water pump.
Because the Coilovers are Camber Adjustable I think they need to be squared off and a wheel alignment is needed.
The insurance let me keep it . All they deducted was salvage price. There may be structural damage , Im just trying to sell it whole for parts.
Mine has 103,600 on it. Doesnt really seem like it though, runs like a beast.
Well ,I have decided to keep the car and repair it myself . When all is said and done i will spend >1000 in parts !
