    I'll be eligible for the 100K club in < 8000 miles...with the following caveats:

    Engine is new
    Gauge cluster has been replaced, so I don't read my actual mileage. I documented the difference when I did the swap so that I'd know the real number.

    Does that cluster plug right in? What color is the lighting in the 04 STi cluster?

    Red. Plugs right in except for (as I recall) 2 wires that need to be cut.

    2 things that have to be sorted out are:
    The thermometer (perpetually reads 42 degrees)
    A rear diff temp light is on all the time. There's a fix for it, but I haven't gotten around to it.

    my old 95 outback had about 185,000 and still ran great! i never had any problems with it that i didnt cause by putting it in ditches.

    Good to hear! We have 106K on ours. I'm just hoping I don't have to deal with the head gaskets.

    02 Wagon with 108000. Was stage 2 for 40 k miles. Now it stock. Went through 2 4EAT's . The second time was not my fault, some electronic sensor failed and the whole thing was toast.

    02 Wagon stage2 140k

    and I beat it like it owes me money

    seriously

    i bought a new car for a DD and the subaru has become the toy. have a ej257 sitting on the stand waiting for the eventual POP. friday the suby goes to the strip. friday night it hauls the band equipment, saturday it goes mudding. sunday you wash it and wait till next friday.

    and I bore myself in my 09 elantra all week.
    I work on vehicles that make 650hp and 2400ft/lbs.
