SUCH IS MANGO!
2002 WRX with 160,000 miles
Its been awhile, my 04 wrx now has 339k
Impressive, but no listy.
I don't list myself, although I personally think having put only 80k on a 2003 is a major accomplishment.

I'm at 115k on my 06. I do 140 miles a day so I'm hoping to get 200k out of it before i need a new commuter.
'03 wagon: 175,000 (just purchased for commuter/poor weather/city rally racer)
One owner, all stock, all scheduled maintenance, no serious accidents, nothing but radiator, brakes, and shocks...not even clutch!
Mobil 1 5W-30 synthetic since 34k
Only premium gas (all fill-ups with mileage, type, price, etc. recorded)
1st month progress...
Kartboy shifter and bushings...and new knob
Removed all the OEM rusted heat shields!!
Grimmspeed uppipe and all new exhaust gaskets
Intake silencer delete and new filter
Jazzy aux-in/iPhone hookup
Subaru all-weather floor mats
Clear side markers w/stealth bulbs
Headlights refinished
DRL delete
Waiting for my time...
Rear diff bushings
STi trans mount
Cabin air filter
Coolant flush
Omori boost gauge
Front rotors, HPS pads, and fluid flush
Down pipe is on its way, and I need to pick up an AP. I'll probably put fresh all-seasons on it in the next few weeks too, and then, it should be fully revived and fulfilling its true potential, haha. Other than that, it'll probably just be a few odds and ends here and there...nothing too major...scheduled maintenance.
I'm hoping to get 225k+ with no major issues, and I'm loving every minute of it so far!

Awesome find and a well thought out list of first mods. You may find when going to stage 2 that your clutch is getting tired. Here's the kit I bought after much research. STi & WRX Performance Parts: Exedy Clutch & ACT Streetlite Flywheel Combo, WRX 2.0L (SAVE $50.50!!)
The only thing I would do differently is keep a stock weight flywheel instead of the "streetlight" option. It makes for lots of off-throttle whine and chatter.

Thanks for the input on the flywheel and clutch setup. Great insight! I hadn't done much research on them yet but am planning for it...as well as belts, water pump, etc. soon.
Also, I'll be upgrading the rear sway and RSB mounts. I just found out today that my buddy can get me the Hotchkis wagon bars with mounts for $320 (wholesale acct.), so I'll prob go that route instead of the sedan RSB and 04+ mounts.
Can't wait for some snow around here, as I've pretty much been driving 300+hp RWD cars for the last 5 years...aside from my '99 Maxima beater that my younger brother snagged off me when he wrecked his truck 6 months ago.
