I replaced the trans a couple of years ago with one from an 05 but the original had 275,000. All original engine. Lots of other small things have been replaced but that is to be expected. Lots of highway miles! Still averages about 25 mpg.

Wow, it's terrific to see so many high milage wrxs out there. I hope I can get over 100k out of my new (used) '11 hatch

190,090 miles on my 99% stock WRX

. Original, unopened motor and driveline. Rides better than most of the WRX's I have been in with half the miles.

If I could afford to keep a second car I would, but sadly shes on the chopping block.

Can anybody give me some pointers on what to watch out for and maintain after the 200,000 mile mark on the stock motor in my 2002 impreza wrx sport wagon turbo. Anybody feel free to pm me or reply to my post. Thanks, J

Hit the big 100k today while pulling into the work parking lot. Been a great ride so far, no major issues, just minor maintenance, currently running gabedudes Stage 1 map with minor custom tweaks. I will be doing both front wheel bearings next weekend, and in the spring time it will be time for a timing belt and clutch.
