Just picked up a 2002 WRX this past weekend...

184k miles. Original Motor, Trans, Turbo, and Clutch.

However I will be doing a clutch job on it in the near future, car shakes when letting the clutch out in 1st gear. Anyone else experience this when the clutch was going?

Ahhh, just took notice of this club Bought her with 95k. At around 105K now. Hello high mileage club!

Everythings great thus far. Except the radiator issue, which as I read more and more i find is quite common. Green crustys around plastic tank/radiator crimps on passenger side, maple syrupy smell.

My reading tells me to look into a mishimoto full aluminum radiator+hoses? comments? thanks

    2002 WRX Wagon

    167,000km (103k miles)!

Since I have no maintenance history, I can only assume original clutch and tranny

Wow, looking at your join date I'm guessing original owner? Is it an '02? You must drive like me (75k on my original owner '03).

hmm, so I'm technically "high mileage" - is it bad that I don't consider 100k high mileage?

I bought the car at 120,999 (looked as I drove off the lot), I'm now pretty much at 121,800.

Looking to own this car the rest of my life, though

Nah, I just felt given how young the model is we wouldn't have much of a list if we cut it higher.
