My 2002 is just past 109,500 right now.

Not quite as bad as the 1998 Legacy GT it replaced, had 166,000 when I traded it in. I miss that car, wish it had the WRX engine, trans, and suspension in it... Oh well...

Anyway, in a year, my mileage should be around 130-150k.

Yeah, we have a Legacy Outback from 98 with 106K- I often think of swapping it eventually. Except for the suspension part given my wife ran over a cinder block recently in it with no damage.

The more I think about it, that is a ton for an 06. I kind of miss not doing any highway time in a while.

Best car I have ever owned, though now it needs new suspension, brakes, tires, clutch, maybe transmission. the scarrier part is i have ordered over half the parts without hesitation. Gotta love a subaru

I'll be interested to see how the 2.5L wrx motor holds up, vs the 2.0L in the long term.

My 02 wrx sedan has 148k on it with a few minor mods, cai, up/down pipe, catback and cobb ap stage 2 map. Is that bad? Has a stage 1 clutch. The car runs like a champ for the miles though, I don't floor it in 1st or 2nd very often, more of a 3rd gear rocket till I swap out the stock 5speed for something a bit stronger. I plan on replacing the motor if it blows too A friend of mine I've known from grade school had a 98 or 99 legacy last him to 300k. Now has a new motor and tranny. Subarus rock

Hey, welcome to the club. I added you on the list.

Nothing wrong with stage II but some intakes can be a problem. Why are you running a boost controller and the stage II map though?

I didn't think I said I had one or if I did I didn't mean to. I don't plan on installing one until I up grade the turbo, fmic and supporting mods. After tht would it be a good idea to get one? Im pretty new to the flat four turbo. I had an 05 sti in my avatar till an old lady cut me off while I was going about 90 and I flipped the car.. ill post a pic of the car but I warn its difficult to see it mangled upside down n a ditch. I only had it prolly a little over 2 months too..... way to ruin my graduation present. I have the 02 now and tryin to make the best
of it. big downstep though. I didn't realize what I had till it was gone. I no longer drive like a jack*** on the highway.
