    Holy Hail!

Had a pretty bad hail storm Saturday afternoon. About 20 or 30 minutes of marble to ping pong ball sized hail. Needless to say it had its toll on the rex....

These might not be big enough but she has tons of dents on the hood, front fenders, roof, and hatch. Going to give the insurance a call after the holiday and see what they can do...

Yes sir. Turns out I have a $100 deductible to cover the ol' act of god. I'm taking her in Thursday to get an estimate.

Anyone know of any good shops in the Bethlehem area?

Why thank you, sir. I'm excited to get rid of the non hail related dents as well.

    Got my estimate today.

$4300 in hail damage. They are calling the hood a complete loss and replacing it, and fixing dents on every single body panel. Over 200 small dents on the roof alone.

    Thank god for comprehensive insurance.

Wow good thing you shell out those few extra bucks a month. I got a check for $500 for similar hail damage a couple years ago. I learned my lesson the hard way.

Now that really sucks. If I didn't have the comprehensive coverage, I think I would have cried when I looked at my car.

Are you using PDR? Some of them are amazing.

Very sorry. Hail sucks, especially with an aluminum hood!

It's my biggest fear, next to someone hitting me in a parking lot... oh wait...

Yes I am. I meet the claims agent at a body shop and saw some of the work they did with PDR. Looked amazing, so I decided to take it there, as none of the shops I'm familiar with do it.

Ouch - sorry to see this.

I watched that storm on weather radar yesterday.

I do not recall seeing ping pong ball sized hail around here.
