    Great writeup!
    Ive been getting a constant ~24-26 MPG on a 93 stage 2 tune... Im really pretty happy with that actually. NOW I mainly drive highway to get that, but I do a bit of city driving too. (prob about 75% highway and 25% city) What I love about the WRX is its ability to have pretty cold air come out of the vents without the ac being on in 90 degree weather. My 97 L... Not so much lol

    I get about 20mpg on E85 not to bad lol 16 if i get on it

    going by cost... that's 27-30mpg on premium! That's pretty good!

    Just gased up today. 28 mpg! With ac on for about half the tank. city and highway combo!

    What's weird, us 06/07 2.5L owners seem to be able to get better gas mileage than the 2.0L owners.

    Gotta wonder if it's the torque curve, or the final drive of the transmission...

    I own a 2002 2.0t WRX. I'm thinking I don't get that great of mileage with it since I've only gone 230 miles on 3/4 of a tank since I filled it up 2 days ago with 91 octane fuel. I really don't know the exact mileage of my WRX and I can't find much for info online so any advice is appreciated

    by my math that's around 24mpg. Not too bad at all.

    I did the math yesterday, I get 14 miles to the gallon. Its all because of the way I drive.

    Some strange stuff afoot here. Who would have expected a basically stock '09 WRX to get much better mileage than a 400+ hp '02 hybrid 20G WRX?
    *shrug* Perhaps I've just out grown my juvenile tendencies from my underpowered 91 legacy. Also this is my first new car so I don't want to be visiting the dealership every month racking up expensive repairs and warranty claims.

    In one year I will have spent about $1400 on gas alone

    Have been getting 23 mpg city since I've gone stage 2 (5 days ago); similar, or slightly better than stage 1 and I've been driving with an morbidly obese throttle foot the past few days.
