    ahhh gotcha, i just notice 5th more than the others because you dont slide right into it like the other gears. ill deal with it thanks for the reply

    I dont really "slide" into any gear... But nothing a short shifter and bushing wont fix I dont think...

    ahhh i see, i have the Sti short throw lol, i dont have the sti hardened bushing yet tho

    Oh you have an STi short throw eh? So you have an STi transmission?

    I think you meant you have an SPT short throw? You can put the STi bushings in from subaru but I recommend going aftermarket with some urethane bushings... They will be a little more stout then hardened rubber bushings and last longer

    whatever lmao, it said sti in the parts book whichever doesnt matter to me, it works nice tho and i got the sti 5 speed shift knob, cost a pretty penny but looks great

    Yeah, I thought that was weird they called it that too.

    I think Subaru's need a little more time between gears than say a Honda. It seemed to "stick" for me at first too, but if you give it just the right amount of time between gears, it'll slide right in.

    (And it won't fall out of second.) :P
