still will require you to move to STU (street tire class) if you leave the camber bolts in, the good news is you don't have to purchase R compound tires to be competitive in BS, bad news is the level of prep is significantly higher in STU (suspension, exhaust, etc)

you can download the entire SCCA Solo rulebook on line (at no cost) to see what is allowed (and what isn't) per class

some regions have a street tire stock class, these are regional only classes, but allow someone w/ a rather stock-ish car to compete at a much lower cost- if your region has these classes might be worthwhile considering removing the camber bolts

finished up the last race of the season and looks like I'll get another Montana Challenge trophy

the course was very fast both days, the majority being an encumbered road course- I was in 3rd gear more than second!

Yea man, good job! I'm not sure what a Montana Challenge trophy is, but I'm sure it takes some skill and prep to get one, so kudos!

thanks gents still haven't gotten the hardware yet, ^^ it's a series of three day two events- each hosted by a different Montana region and the points are accumulated for each event and a trophy awarded for each class after the last race

hardware still hasn't arrived, but I have made the decision to abandon D Stock and move to STU for next year- this was a tough decision as the 09 WRX is much more competitive in D Stock vs hammering out it w/ the EVO's and STi's

couple of things went into my decision, one- hauling tires/jack takes a lot of room, two- changing tires at events sucks , three- I'm a tinkerer at heart and Stock class doesn't allow much tinkering, four changing tires at events suck- oh I already mentioned that one
