    Thanks!

Very impressed you got them out without tearing them...

    Mike/Wayne/others,

What are your opinions of the bigger FSB? I know a lot of people have been reporting understeer getting really bad. I'm on a Perrin 25mm on stiff and I'm not noticing it....granted back when I was on the stock bar, I was no where near as good as I am now. Just wondering if there was consensus on if the big front bar is worth it. One thing I'll say is the increased roll rate is nice in slaloms/transitions....so I guess it's kind of course dependent.

if you want to see what effect it has, take a run and then disconnect and take another- the effect will be large on a oe sprung vehicle, that's also lacking in neg camber

as you increase spring rates (not doable in Stock class) and increase front neg camber (tough in Stock class)- a bigger FSB becomes less important- in Stock class they are a necessity IMO

I've got a very big custom front bar that I haven't broken out yet (mainly because I've been pretty happy w/ the handling via the WL bar, Koni's, alignment and Hoosiers)- I'd love to try them back to back on the same course

There's is no way you should be running without a larger one in stock class. I've never ran my 09 without one as I did my 05, but the benefits are same, reducing roll and camber loss, and improving transition response. With the Whiteline 24-6mm, my car does not understeer unless I make a bad mistake to make it do so.

    ^ I'd wholeheartedly agree w/ that.

a little update from my first event- it was a two day event they treated as two separate events. the courses were WOW!!! 90+ second courses w/ several 3rd gear stretches- we got eight runs in on Saturday, I left after 3 today (400 mile drive home)

I made some dumb errors- forgot to firm my Koni's up until half way through the runs on Sat. I forgot how to deactivate the seatbelt chime- got that done Sun- for you that don't know how you turn the ignition to ON and fasten/unfasten the seat belt 20 times in 30 seconds- works like a charm when you remember
some other errors I can't recall at the moment

one of my rear Hoosiers has some cord showing, so it goes into the scrap pile

the spacers worked well and looked like I had no rubbing issues

I missed a tornado coming through Billings by about ten minutes- dumb luck

So today was the first day on r-comps and I think the car definitely needs a bigger front bar running them, 27mm would be nice. So Mike, who made your custom bar and what was the cost?, if you don't mind posting or sending me a PM. Thanks. And as a nice finish to the weekend, the clutch started slipping in 4th and 5th gear on way home with 23K on the odometer.......never launched hard, but once. I guess I'll at least attempt to get it covered under warranty, but I know that's a slim chance. 90 secs sound like a blast!

here's a crapy attempt at outlining the course- it had to be in the 1-1.5 mile range. much of the course followed sections of the road course, the infield was "typical" autox fare, the long straight away was broken up by several slaloms and offsets- speeds were still pretty decent even w/ these thrown in

should add we ran it one way Saturday and the reverse Sunday (there were some minor tweaks between days)- as anyone who has a run a course in reverse- it's truly a completely new beast going in the opposite direction
