here's my first mod- it's not a triple adjustable set of Motons, but it's a start
All this beautiful red stitching in the interior and nothing on the shift knob- so I picked up this beauty from Jon at Flatirons.com
genuine STi knob (same one that was on the 22B)
the stitching is absolutely spot on
the oe knob is OK, but kind of meh
installed

Nice! Glad to see the white color isn't some sort of off-white cream color like I was fearing, but a real honest to goodness white. Congrats. I would be very interested in 2 things:
-What kind of mpg's you're getting once it's broken in.
-Does this car need a rear lsd or not really.
Does Rimrock have any '09s on the lot, or are they all order-only still at this point? They don't have any here which I find odd; they're going to be discounting the heck out of the 5 '08s they've got collecting dust I suspect.
Good luck with the mods, let the hatch action begin.

my first tank was just shy of 25 mpg- that was w/ quite a bit of varied driving (mostly interstate though)- I think my days of 28-30 on the highway are over
my initial testing says not really on the lsd- I'll have a better idea when I start dodging cones next springs though
I think Rimrock has two STi's is all
the 09's are coming in at a very slow trickle (maybe trying to clear out the 08's????)

I "fixed" the tail lights- clear wasn't going to cut it
I also cut the "fully monty" VentureShield ( VentureShield ) treatment- mirrors, front fenders, hood (w/ a custom strip on the scoop), full bumper cover, door edges and hatch ledge.
guy did a great job (said it the front bumper cover was a pain- I believe him)- it's very hard to see- you have to be looking at just the right angle

Love the tail lights Mike. That right tail pipe is looking a little lonely![]()

Nice, the only thing I truly dislike visually about the 08/09 is the taillights, and that is easily remedied. Looks world better.

I like those AST's with their piggyback reservoirs on the rear shocks. Are they 2-way? And what's that clamp or bolt below the spring perch on the front struts?
