a boost controller is not an effective or safe way to up the boost on subarus. get some sort of engine management- either with an AP or opensource tune

Those aren't the only two options and they also aren't mutually exclusive.

I'd recommend looking at the sticky threads and FAQs in each forum because it'll save you a tremendous amount of time and money.

Check out Radar Roy's site for radar detector tests and info. Also consider subscribing to
Radar Detector Jammer Forum
since they have user impressions, vendor info, and links to test data.

I have also read, and personally seen bad experiences from Manual boost control. Not safe

everytime i go to the gas pumps no matter which one i go to. the nossle is in the filler and it will run real quick and then pop! it normal takes me 20 mins to fill it because it keeps on happening! Is the vents cloged in the filler or something i can do to stop having it pop and just fill up normal?

Oh boy...get ready to be flamed.

MBCs are not to be used w/o Engine Mangement. Good way to grenade your engine.

The proper way to increase boost/PSI is through tuning such as the Cobb Accessport (AP) or thru other tuning methods such as open source w/a tratrix cable.

Edit: I read your profile...says you have a AP...you should get a protune.

dude! chill out on the postings! instead of asking all these questions, use the search button first. either here, nasioc, wrxtuners, etc...

i know that most of these questions you have asked have been brought up, so just put some effort into it and search your current topic at the time.

if the search doesn't come up, then post...

Searching can certainly help a tone. You may also learn the answer to questions you haven't asked yet too!

I would definitely recommend you explore the links in my signature too.
