08/09 STi quad pipe exhaust on a 09 WRX?
I've been thinking heavily between getting a 09 STi or a 09 WRX and still have yet to make a decision. Anyway, I was wondering how difficult it would be to put the 08/09 style STi quad pipe exhaust on a WRX? I know that the rear diffuser/bumper would have to have another hole cut out for the other 2 pipes but, was just wondering what everyone thought? I'm not too big on just that single pipe sticking out on the right side and think it would look awesome with the STi exhaust on the ass end :P
What do ya think? I don't think I've ever seen the underside of both a 08 STi and 08 WRX. I'm sure a little searching would turn something up. |

vermillion, heres a nice thread on nasioc with pics:
08STI Exhaust choice i'm pretty sure u can put/wrangle a sti quad tip on a wrx the question for me would be is the rear plastic section interchangeable that surrounds the exhausts. which from the 2 pics below i think it maybe possible: ![]() ![]()

Yeah its still up in the air at the moment. For the speculation of price for the 2009 WRX it seems to be the best bang for the buck. It seems to be a completely different car than the 2008's. I do wish the WRX had a tad bit wider fender flaring, looks kinda anemic haha.

I agree that the '09 (as reported) is the best bang for the buck although who knows if the '09 STI is going to be getting upgraded as well? It might be worth it to wait and see. Either way, good luck and we can't wait to see pics of whatever one you pick.

09 sti is same as 08 sti except we lose aspen white and they replaced it with satin white.
