His name's Garfield. The boyfriend jokingly picked it out due to the orange/black color scheme and it stuck.
How often do you walk into the kitchen at night and find your WRX scouring the fridge for lasagna?

My car is a tool, not a living being. It has no name. I beat on it like Maus beats on Silvercookie.

Exhaust pipes, glove "box", they are picky, they can be difficult, they have attitude...all basic things that come standard on a female as well.

Velma. As in the shorter, smarter, geekish brunette on Scooby-Doo (and as contrasted with my last car, a convertible Camaro, which had sexier lines but was dumb as hell).

My wife has totalled the last three cars she didn't name, two in accidents and one mechanically. I now insist that she name them in hopes that a more personal relationship will prompt her to protect them.

My WRX has no given name yet, but my roommate seems to like, and keeps suggesting, Optimus.

    Name?!

My family has a tradition of naming cars. We had a big black suburban named Thunder and we have a baby blue 1980 jeep named Flipper. I bought a 2009 white WRX hatchback on Saturday. I need some suggestions! All are welcome
