What is your favorite thing about Subies?

Just curious, what is your favorite thing about subarus/wrxes/STis/your car?

Mine has to be the subie community....everytime I see a wrx/sti I always get a wave and give a wave! I loooove the enthusiasm and the sense of belonging to teh awesomest group in the automobile world!!!

That's one of the #1 reasons I bought my WRX in the first place. The only other times I have witnessed this sense of community was among Mustangs and Corvettes. Definitely something you don't see amongst Civic or RSX drivers!

and i have to agree with you on the community. i bought my car used and the priveous owner lives like 4 streets down from me

As was said before, I love the community aspect and the familyness. I haven't had so many strangers bend over backwards to help with something just because they share the same taste in cars as I.

In a world like today, it is hard to find a good solid camaraderie.

i love how diffrent subaru's are, if i go out and see a crowd of people and one of them knows me and is into cars the idiots in the crowd come over thinking they know it all so i get to make them look retarded infront of everyone. retard- "this an STi?", me- "no" , other retard-"then its not awd huh", me- "no its AWD too". retard- "then its not turbo like an STi"
Me- "actually it is"

then i go through a long explaining process. but thats just one perk of owning it, its a great all around car.
