    So, today my boygriend and I finally changed that little $2.00 pcv valve! Wow! What a great help this thread was! And the pictures! THANK YOU!!!! You know, my boyfriend is a die-hard chevy guy, buy I think he is turning a new leaf towards SUBARU!! Just thought I'd say THANKS!!!

    Help find PCV on 04 WRX

    Ok i am having the same problem. I removed the IC, and removed the plug that was described on this post, and it was not the PCV valve? Does anyone know where it actually is? Thank you.

    hey, i just wanted to thank u for this thread. i knew i had to change this part like every 15k-30k but i didnt know where the hell it was at on my car. lol. but the pix really help locating it. im about to get a new one right now and replace it. we'll c how long it really takes. lol. should be a few minutes

    ANYBODY with an 04 find out our situation - I've got everything taken off and all I see is the skinnieir GOLD thing that resembles a PCV valve, but my new 142 replacement won't fit into that hose!!

    did this swap yesterday...new valve works like a charm...old valve w/ 90,000 miles on it was still working but not well.

    Subaru changed the PCV valve to a non servicable item in 04. Apparently now they never have to be changed. It doesn't make much sense to me, but w/e.
