My 02 doesn't that I've seen, although I'm not exactly sure where the v8 mounts the ic tank.

Thanks for all the info. I have been waiting for this install for a while. As far as a harness Subaru doesn't sell the seperate parts. In order to get that little section they make you purchase the ENTIRE harness. What I plan to do, instead of individual leads, is to visit the junk yard and get the harness that goes into the Cruise Control or Fog Lights button. I've tried them already and the fit snug as a bug. I just have to make sure that I get enough wire with it to tap in according to Big Sky's diagram.

    Thanks again,
    Todd

    Hey everyone,
I hit the junk yard today and found very few Subarus. Damn them for making such a quality car. Anyway, I happened upon an early 90's Legacy and sure enough the cruise control switch harness and fog light switch harness fit perfectly. I installed tonight and everything looks super clean. Thanks again for the help.

I installed this to my FMIC, but the only problem is that when I turn it on it keeps syphoning the water even when its off, causing it to drip out of the hose. I tried using a connector to prevent that from happening, but even with the connector it still drips. Is there a better connector that will prevent this?

there must be some sort of sealed valve thta you can use which which will allow water through when it is under pressure, but it will seal off once the pump stops working. dont know where to find it, but thats what you want to be looking for.

One way check valve would probably solve that. I'm sure you can find one that cracks at ~1-2 psi that would prevent the siphoning.

I'll confirm this, I don't have the mounts in my trunk either. I may have to fabricate some, I just haven't put much time into the car lately.

The V8 STi reseviour mounts to the tunk on the opposite side of the jack.
If anyone has found a check valve that will work, please post the details.

Yeah I know that's the problem I'm having with my STI tank (larger one against back of seat) is that I need a check valve. The one's that I've tried don't seem to work. Any ideas anyone?

So those are check valves for the actual STI intercooler sprayer? Hmm, guess I could go and try those. Just hope they work for my setup with FMIC. Thanks, RYAN
