Are you talking about the cover in the first pic? Good question.

My Subie shop manual fails to reconnect the hose attached to it. I imagine it is along the lines of "drivers side crankcase blowby gas cover."

What the hell did you do to it?!?

    'click'

So I'm having a really hard time getting the injectors to 'click' back in to the fuel rail. Do I just have to push/pull/force the injectors back in harder, or is there some trick?

There will be a slight click. Nothing noteworthy. If the o-rings are properly greased, you may not feel anything. In fact, they may not even stay in the rail. I inserted the injectors into the engine first, then carefully aligned and pressed down the fuel rail onto the injectors. They went in real easy.

Just be sure before starting the engine that you check for leaks. Prime the fuel pump by turning the key to 'ON' and check for drips, smells and/or wet spots with a good flashlight.
