I'd add that using a catless down pipe or having a 3" exhaust all the way back can cause difficulties controlling boost. I went EWG after trying to tune my catless stage 2 STi due to having both bad boost spikes and boost creep. Adding an EWG made boost control as easy as pie.
    Thanks!
Same reason I ended up running my EWG. Ill go back and add it now.

I have found stuff that is low priced to stuff way outside what I would want to spend. Whats your opinion? Thanks.
Invidia N1 is very deep sounding exhaust. It has a resonator and has a very nice rumble.

If you want louder go with their Race exhaust.

Another great exhaust is Perrin. Fit and sound is great and they offer a flat black option. For stealth

Thanks for the advice! Whats your opinion on these $100-$200 catbacks on ebay? Waste of money?

I have heard mixed reviews but more saying its waste of money due to poor fitment/terrible quality.

    Nicely done!

    I have an
05 WRX, I just ordered a CAI, and contemplating doing the DP shortly. Is a tune recommended ever after these two modz?
    Thanks

What EJ257 said. It is required. If you are going to do a CAI and a custom tune you might as well throw a DP on there too! The power gains will be great! What tuner were you going to go with?

Ok. So this leads to the next question, this is my daily commuter, and the installs will be done by moi, so, with that said, once it's installed, and I have an apt. with Speed Factor(here in Winnipeg), I should be safe to drive her there, right? I know this might sound stupid, but I am new to this whole thing..... I do audio installs for cars, nothing mechanical(except basic stuff, tire swap, brakes, calipers, braks pad, spark plug changes, etc...).... until now
