07' wrx wagon couple questions please help!!!

So I got my 07 wrx wagon a couple months ago and installed the SRS Exhaust several weeks ago and now am looking for some cheap and not to difficult ways to get more performance out of the car...

The car ONLY has the exhaust and was wondering how to remove the cats and was trying to get some answers in some of the forums and couldnt really find any.... Read about gutting the cats but that looks pretty intense :/ anyways I would love for some advice and help on mods to do etc!!
