    Cobb Heat Shield

    I just got this thing in the mail. I held it in my engine compartment trying to see how it went on...why can i figure it out?? ANybody put one of these on before?? Got any pics or anything. I know id get it sooner or later. I just want to make the install easier on myself..thanks guys...

    Remove the stock one - it should then be obvious.

    my stock one isnt on there anymore. DO i need the brackets from the stock one/? i hope not casue i dont have them...

    You could buy the brackets form your suby dealer, or see in the for sale section if anyone has em.
    I think the brackets are right off the downpipe.

    You might do better to post in the wanted forum. It wouldn't surprise me if some people have them, but would never think to sell them unless someone asked.

    Ill prob just sell this one and make my own heat shield...I dunno.. im so lazy these days..thanks for the help guys.

    Dude, just look / ask around for the brackets. It would be worth it. Your intercooler will thank you.

    the group-s heat sheild bolts up to the transmision and does not need the stock bracket to work. I'm using it and it fits very nicely. Plus, they didn't bother to write their name on it and I like that. Good luck
