removing the silencer box???

i heard somthing about removing the silencer box on the rex. what is the silencer box, what does it do, and what is the difference when it is remove?? answers would greatly help. thanks

It makes the sucking sound a little more noticable, and it sucks in air a little more efficiently. My friend just took mine out earlier today. Took about 15 minutes. It's a cool free mod. I see it as something to do about the intake until I get my Bltz SUS. Here are the instructions if you're interested. Late
