Thumbs up T3RMIN4L's 04 STi puts down 321lb.-ft. and 310awhp at TurboXS (Dynapack)

We got up VERY early. I was forced to miss my own caravan to the Tri State meet (my WRX was also broken). It was worth it to see Nathan and Jermaine work their magic on the only STi touched by Platinum Performance so far...

How about 321lb.-ft of torque from 3200rpm to 3800rpm with the TurboXS Stealthback (catted), the stock muffler, the TurboXS short ram intake doing it's best jet engine impersonation, and an AutoSpeed crack pulley providing the top end rotational mass savings? How about 310HP on the same run while making more noise thru the intake then thru the exhaust pipe?

93 Octane and 20psi. Lowering the boost to 18psi yields 306HP and 306lb.-ft. of everyday power.

    The EJ257 is a beast.

Thanks, Mike. I really am sorry about missing the caravan. Here is our next big meet. I'll also do a drive as soon as I have my WRX back on the road!

    Ken,

When did he say he's not going to tune it himself?

T3RMIN4L is smart enough to pay the best to work on his STi. The only hands that have touched his car are his, mine, and Frank@Autospeed's. Then he paid for the best tuning money can buy, a team of Nathan and Jermaine @ TurboXS.

For the record, we'll be picking up some 104 octane and creating a map for that eventually. Then T3RMIN4L plans to come with me to Xotic and lay down some silly #s on the Dynojet.

    no offense intended, jim!

i was just surprised at the tuner listed in the mods when he had gone to txs to get it dyno tuned. generally those that go for one forgo the other, but of course it is not always the case.

it seems like your intended plan of attack is to build upon the txs-tuned "base map," pulling a little fuel and adding a little timing when you switch to the fun gas? sounds like a good method to me...

out of curiousity, when txs tunes a car on their dyno and it has a tuner, do they use that or the dyno wbo2?

They use the tuner. Esp. if the car is catted.

I'm thinking a PE1820 would be an awesome turbo on this engine. FP Green is also a good choice.

He has the Walbro fuel pump installed and PE800cc/min injectors ready to drop in. He just needs a turbo.
