I thought this was going to be another one of those threads with giant insects. Oh well. I guess turbochargers serve a purpose too.

What made you decide on a VF29? (Not trying to second guess you, I am just curious).

I've been in VF30-powered cars and Garret's STi. To me, those are just crazy fast. For my type of driving, I don't need all that power. I'd rather have something that spools fast for my 4EAT and has good low/mid-range torque. The VF29 suits my needs perfectly...I honestly don't care about the top end at all, but it sure gets up past 100 plenty fast for me

yeah.... i'd say that was a good choice. The 29 probably compliments the auto well. I rode in an auto with a vf-22 and it was fast... but took too long to spool.

Yeah, I'm really liking it. The power comes on very smoothly and it's easy to forget that you're going so fast, unlike my friend's VF30 that just hits hard in spurts. I also don't have to worry about spool up because the power hits when you need it. My car also took to the base UTEC Stage 4 map very well...my friend/installer did the tuning and he said they barely had to tweak anything. I'll be getting a dyno tune this summer but it's nice and safe right now with no knock. I honestly couldn't be any happier
