Turbo XS RFL Ti Turbo-Back!

Hey guys i`m new here I have an 02 WRX and i need to get an exhaust for it i`m wondering if u know which would be the best to get for power and sound. I was leaning toward Invidia with both the uppipe and downpipe and header. If i would get that done what horsepower gains could i expect i was thinking maybe 25 or 30 is that about right

check out the turbo xs RFL Ti turbo-back exhaust. i have this exhaust set-up with the catless race-pipe, so i make a little more power. i love the deep boxer race sound that it makes, and the power gains have been 30+ hp. jsc speed has a great price on this exhaust. check out the link below for a sound clip. i'll post my own sound clip tomm. evening.

The only sound clips for the Cobb catback that I've been able to find are on the cobb site which is fine and good but I was wondering if there are any more out there that I could listen to. (I need something to get my jollies while my 4-6 week backorder time passes

hey sorry i didn't get that sound clip of my suby yet, i had to have emergency clutch work.

my ACT street disc starting slipping really bad, and i don't have time to do the work myself, so my mechanic has my suby, and should be done next week. will have a new SPEC stage 3 clutch.

will make a sound clip when i get her back.

I am with BlueHeavenWRX about the TurboXS Ti turboback exhaust. Thats what I have on my 05 wrx with a 4" bellmouth downpipe and I love the sound and quality. I am a big TurboXS fan and am about to get their uppipe as well. Also, the exhaust is rated to add an additional 26.5 HP. Here is a sound clip of what it sounds like...this is a video i took of my car when I first got it!

hey MDturborex05, do you have the catless race pipe or high flow cat?

for all, check out this clip i found, this guy has the same exhaust set-up as i do, and sounds just like my rex! though i don't know what up-pipe he has? i have a gruppe-s, up-pipe and HKS SS BOV.

Right now I have a hi-flow cat. I would like to put a race pipe on it eventually, as well as the turboxs uppipe. And if you were to hear it now its got a turboxs hybrid 50/50 BOV on it so it would sound a little better.

I've looked through most of these, but you never know how they really sound until you've got it on your car

. Can anyone recommend which options have a really open sound? Most of these tuner exhausts scare me to death. I hate that tomato-can import "tone" and god-forbid that buzz! Just for example, every time I hear a newer stock infinity drive by I want to bang my head into a wall. Obviously rex's aren't like that stock, and are pretty mean sounding 4 bangers, but it seems a few of these aftermarkets are going backwards.

When I had my first car , a rock knocked a hole in the old integra's muffler, and it sounded mean as hell--I kept it like that for years until I had to smog

. So yes, I like those engine-brake cracks and pops! It seems that the TurboXS package gets close...
