I'd really like to hear the SPT and STi exhaust on an WRX...

the camera didnt pick up like any of the bass tones ... but it still sounds mean as hell. set up is: Fujita 3" DP, custom 3" - 2.5" midpipe, JDM STi GeNome axleback.

are there any known problems with doing a QTEC electric cutout...since its basicly running open headers? Or should everything work ok? I'm new to turbo's and i didnt know if this would cause a problem

Sounds like it has a little more authority, but still quiet. You'll be able to hear just a hint of turbo spool when you're standing right behind it and have somebody step on the gas.

In the ****pit you'll probably notice the turbo spool up more than you'll notice an increase in volume as far as the muffler is concerned.

my roommate has an 06 wrx with a catted DP and stock CBE. u can hear the turbo more, and hear the wastegate, thats about it. my stock sti has a louder exhaust note that his car and thats not saying much. so catless youd maybe sound like a stock sti.
