For sound wise, does it really matter is you get a cat back exhaust and up and down pipes; or get a catless exhaust n catless up n down pipes. Also if i get up and down pipes do i need a cross pipe?

yes the cats matter. catless, as most will vouch, can make a quiet cat back rumbly, and a loud cat back insane. cross pipe im assuming u mean mid pipe? cat backs come with a midpipe and bolt up to the downpipe. if u got just an axle back (which is only for sound) you would have to order a midpipe too. if u ordered just a catback, and no DP, it would be a little quieter than with the DP. same with cats. catless is a bit louder than catted.

anything u change to the exhaust over stock will make it louder.

Blitz Nur Spec R, ported exhaust and headers.

I finally made a video of my car, which features a Blitz Nur Spec R Catback with ported and polished headers, exhaust connections and intake manifold. Also ported and polished the stock BOV and it's connections.

More updates on the page to, check the link at the bottom

Hey guys here's a good benchmark video for those just starting out.

I got a free STi axleback exaust and stuck it on my '06 TR this weekend. Here's the video clip:

It has a nice boxer rumble to it, but it's annoying at all inside the cabin.

APS 3" TBE - catless and catted clips

Decided to put my cat onto the APS this weekend. I read that the cat would quiet things down quite a bit, so I was curious and took short clips of the before and after. Both clips were taken about 1 foot behind the eyhaust and 3 feeô away.

Catless

With the APS high flow cat

Overall I am happy with it. People who drive behind me shouldn'y get the smell, and it is a little more civilized in the cabin now
