I think the link is dead if u were refering to the we-todd-did link.

Or does it just always sound like it does in these clips ?

I really dig the sound it puts out heck i dig alot of exhuast just their to loud for me here in the ol' home town.

the Borla Hush is really quiet. It's almost like driving stock, except a bit louder. If you don't get on the throttle too much, it won't be very noticeable.

As for the Greddy Evo, it's not too noticeable either if you don't get on it (keep it below 3.5k rpms). I've had it on my car with everything else stock (stock up/dp). When you get higher in the rpms, it'll get somewhat noticeable but it's still not that loud compared to other exhausts out there.

Theres a list comparison of sound decibles here, also some of the pipes listed have soundclips attached to them.

-Im starting to think the greddy wasnt a bad choice after hearing a new clip at wrxfanatics. Its halfway down page 8 in from the link in my next post.

[QUOTE=Blue EJ20 WRX]It's been said before, Blitz is really loud. Especially when catless.
Here's a videoclip of the Blitz NUR Spec R with a downpipe:

Its a relentlessly loud and obnoxious exhaust system. Most people find that they can tolerate a system with some volume as long as its not loud all the time and lets up on the volume when you are trying to go slow or intentionally keeping your engine speeds low. There is no making the blitz be quiet, period.

Something you might want to consider is the Espelir JGT 500R its got a great tone, and does not drone very much at all. It gives you volume when you want it, like when your nailing the throttle and is very mild when you are crusing or keeping your rpms steady. The price is less than the nur spec, and the quality is on par with some of the most expensive systems out there.

Please feel free to let me know if you have more exhaust questions.

Well i needed something to do tank of gas a week is expensive.

Most the clips i have i snagged from wrx fanatics so you can also go there to listen.

Blood free install, did take 2 hours though (used stock jack so not much clearance). Sounds great without being obnoxious.. Thanks to everybody for your input and opinions, I'd recommend the Hush to anyone.

Here's a clip I got from the previous owner of my exhaust that's on the way. It's an HKS Hi-power cat-back, with an HKS downpipe.

HKS hi-power / HKS downpipe
