Dyno: 221 hp/ 195 tq - Basic bolt-on's

Hey guys. I did a few power runs today at Brainstorm and these are the results. I'm not sure why theres only 2, but i guess those are the better results. BTW....I was hoping for around 205 at most and my friends were joking around getting 170, but i guess the outcome was good.

My mods are HKS DP, Gruppe-S Up, Cobb Cat-back (w/ small exhaust leak), Blitz SBC-ID (set to around 15.5 psi, might've varied on the dyno).

On i think the 3rd run, my car had a small boost creep and it had a bit of pinging going on, so the car pulled timing i think and the graph was a bit lower, but it still reached around the same peak numbers.

Let me know what you guys think. Probably next is a header or a turbo......need that power

Probably just the way the rollers of the dyno are. Get them spinning and they will keep reading power

The Blue EVO7?? Ya...i talked to the owner for like an hour today when they were finishing up his clutch. His car was pretty sweet and it sounded bad ass w/ those Jun cams.

I'm not sure how my car's power didn't die off towards redline.....but i like the numbers. But i like what MJU1983 said. When i go back...i'll ask Roshan about the power not dropping off towards redline.

Yeppers. Gotta hate inertia. Make tyhe chart look nice but certainly not representative of what the car is actually doing. Good thing my dyno doesn't have rollers.

Our dyno uses rollers... But like not what they use. Ours is load based. Very accurate

Also, yeah the only cars i have seen make peak power @ 6500 or so were really modified.

They are using a DTS or Dynamic Test Systems Dyno.

Dan uses a Dynapack, we use a Dyno Dynamics.

From what i've heard, don't Dynapacks tend to read a bit higher cause its to the hub and not the actual wheel?

- So what would my HP be then? close to those numbers?
