Pictures of my XS Engineering 500 hp turbo
I had my XS500 turbo off the STi this weekend, to clock it a little bit so it would clear the throttle connector a little better. I took a bunch of pictures and tried to make an estimate of the turbine nozzle area. Here they are. This turbo is basicly a GT3037-10 garrett, in a bolt on configuration with a custom cast turbine housing. It is also the exact same thing as an AVO500, and is made by avo.

Here's a couple measurement's of the compressor cover inlet. It is a T04E cover machined down to a 60mm OD inlet, from 2.75". The ID measures about 53mm, I couldn't get all the way in there with my dinky calipers. Notice the dual bladed garrett GT compressor wheel.

Here's a dyno plot of my car running the turbo, at low boost, on the stock ecu and fuel, catless turboback and AVO inake pipe, Joe P MBC. Notice how it makes full power all the way to redline? With all the supporting mods, this turbo can support about 22 psi of boost at redline on the 2.5.
