Launch Control and CEL?

K, so twice today, after getting some good launches with launch control.. (yes it happened with both IGN and INJ cutoff)...I got a CEL...

Whap had an OBD II reader, and got the P0301, 0302, etc...

cylinder misfires...

is this happening because of the launch control?? or should I be worried...?

p.s.: the car rockets off the line...

Okay, so I was talking to the Genius, and he rationalized the whole situation. When you mess with ignition, you can come to expect a CEL of that nature. Correct?

I want to know when I get knock and other CELs, so I don't want to turn on the CEL disabler...

if I turn on the CEL disabler, will I still see the knock CEL and any other abnormal CEL?

I read that and posted there.

What do they mean when they say "you need to cycle the ignition so it won't throw the CEL" ?
