Redstar Racing in Hayward California also installs uppipes for $220. I think that's a pretty good price for a lot of work. Plus you save your sanity. I have a hard time keeping it together when I work on my car for more than 8 hours straight(which is probably how long it would take for me to achieve this installation since I have never done it before.)

Several of us meet for lunch every few weeks, and you would be welcome to join us. We also regularly get together and work on each other's vehicles, and I'd be willing to help out with yours.

You will need to purchase a set of new gaskets, and I'd recommend you pick up some of that super-high temperature putty that is currently being discussed in another uppipe thread.

Oh man... now I'm getting jealous. I made a promise to myself, one major purchase for the car per month. This month I'm getting a set of morettes. I now have to wait an ENTIRE month before I splurge and get an uppipe.
Hmmm, guess you should have gotten your priorities straight. LOOKS before performance?????? And what you spent on snazzy headlights (which you already had a working set), could have bought you both an up-pipe and a down-pipe.

Well, the car looks good enough But the handling leaves a lot to be desired (understeeer UGH!!!).

Anyway, I am now working on a prototype down-pipe system with Ian at PDE. I already have his up-pipe and it is working great. No CEL issues at all. And at this time, we have his cat-less down-pipe on (so now no cats on the car - but this is for a BASE test), and again not one single blip of the CEL. Will be at the SD AutoX this weekend to test out lowend performance. For once, an mfgr IS interested in helping us AutoX folks who need the bottom end more than the top - as well as help to conform to the new SCCA STX class regs. But if things turn out right, we might even have it so it will be useable for any type of event.

The gaskets that Godspeed provides are Subaru brand-name gaskets...so you should be fine...
