It is what holds the tube to the pump....
I took pics of it and sent it to the place I bought it from. They are sending out a replacement piece.

How/where did you connect the purple wire from the 40A relay? It looks like it just wants a 12V+ connection but not from the battery.

It is a 12V ignition switched so that it is not trying to maintain 6 bar of pressure all the time. I used a 12V ignition source under the dash as there was already wiring running there.

Like I said - the wiring is the biggest headache with this install.

Guys, I just installed my System 2D but one question, I have the purple wire connected to the 12V ignition lead. Does your water pump constantly running?

It does if you do not have the pressure manifold hooked up.
The pressure manifold tells the pump to keep pumping until it sees 6 Bar of pressure. This ensures a constant flow rate on the nozzle.

I got the pressure manifold connected but forgot to prime the system hence a hydro lock was evident. Had to remove one of the blanking plugs on the pressure manifold and let the system run until water exits the manifold. Thanks.

I have just about everything hooked up except for the puple wire off the FIA2. Not sure what it is suppose to hook up to? It says FL % monitor but I dont know what that is.

The purple wire is an output and you do not have to hook it up. It gives a 0-5V output proportional to the mapped fuel injector. I hook it up to my SBC-iD so that I can monitor IDC.

I think this is my last question. I have everything else wired up except for the float switch.

The float switch has 2 wires comming off of it. 1 wire is suppose to be grounded(to the chasis or black wire with the 2D system or to the ground side of the LED?) and the other wire connects to the 12v ignition then to the resistor and LED?

    Thanks for all the help

I turn on my car and the aquamist water pump does not run. Did I not connect it to a proper 12V ignition?

It shouldn't you are not injecting water at idle or stop.
start the car and confirm that the green 'fuel injector' light is flashing on the controller
