    Uppipe Install??

    According to Perrin, you have to remove the downpipe to install the uppipe. Is this absolutely necessary? or is this advised to make installation less difficult?

    It's nessesery because there's one nut on the up-pipe/turbo you can't get at properly, so takeing off the down-pipe allows for the nessesary room...

    I didn't fully remove the downpipe, but I did have to unbolt it from the turbo to access 1 or 2 of the nuts on the uppipe studs. Theoretically, it might be possible to do it without unbolting the downpipe, but I think that would be way more trouble than it's worth.

    Even if you can find a way to do it without unbolting the DP, it will probably make your life about 27 times easier if you do unbolt it, IMO

    You have to, but that is prob. on of the easier things to do, Have Fun.
