bypass valve delete mod..
I lost the page in my owner's manual that states that Subaru put the reciprocating turbine exhaust bypass valve system in as a joke, and that we don't really need it, and that it is really just extra parts they had lots of, and it made the engine look expensive. No way it retains boost charge between shifts... no way.
If you have a front mounted intercooler, a gigantic turbocharger, and no idea what you are doing, it makes sense to ask which one is good, there are people here who can help you calculate your car's abilities, and tell you what method of valving the charge air in your intercooler will give you the best performance.
