Resident Clubdub Debbie Downer. I'd love your ideas if you kept them to yourself. Subarus suck, get a new wife.

hey guys im planning to upgrade my BOV I have a 012 wrx sedan ive been reading alot and cant find a decent one. all reviews for the ones i seen look and say they can damage the car. any ideas on which BOV is good?
search some more.. you dont want air exiting to atmosphere in a metered air car (where ecu meters incoming air to determine air/fuel mixture) .. it plays hell with the ecu.
We also have a factory B P V .. bypass valve.. If you want to upgrade that there are a few but my question again would be why? The factory valve hasn't cost you anything and will hold up to ~25psi .... Or, as Adam asked, do you just want noise?

After reading numerous pages in this thread, I still like the sound of BOVs My wrx still is stock however. My last turbo car wasn't a MAF, there wasn't any reason to have a recirc.

I think thats what im gonna do and just buy an intake so i can hear the bov better
On my old setup I was running a Forge Recirculating Race valve that had plenty of noise with my Perrin SRI, and it had no tuning issues. Only drawback compared to stock was that I had to routinely clean and grease it.
