For real.. I've already had two marriages down the drain in part due to my mod addiction. At this point, if they don't like my car, they can take a hike. If they want me pining over them all day instead of thinking about turbos, then they're with the wrong guy. Car won't cheat or leave, worst it can do is break down, and if I throw enough money at it it will work again.. can't say the same for a woman.

A catback exhaust by itself will not do anything for power, yes. Now, if you have a 3" downpipe and go from a stock catback to a 3" one then yes, power will increase a little (not much). But a catback alone will do nothing for power.

I think I'm about to switch to a Perrin rotated turbo kit and run speed density. If I do I'll have to ditch my Forge Recirculating Race valve since I won't have an intake to route it back into anymore. So... what BOV should I get?

A catback exhaust by itself will not do anything for power, yes. Now, if you have a 3" downpipe and go from a stock catback to a 3" one then yes, power will increase a little (not much). But a catback alone will do nothing for power.

A catback by itself isn't going to let any more air out of the engine. There is already a bottleneck at the OEM downpipe before the exhaust even gets to the catback..

Yeah, I'm sure the word of a kid is better than the decades of combined experience telling you otherwise. Prove us wrong.

Put a COMPLETELY stock WRX on the dyno, get a reading, then do nothing but swap on an aftermarket catback and see what you get.

Have you even seen the stock downpipe? There's a plate that blocks off half of the available flow from the turbo exit. That is the largest restriction in the stock WRX exhaust line.

There is truth to what Ken is saying, but it's not a very appreciable gain.

I wouldn't dismiss him so quickly. He may not post here as much as Nasioc, but that doesn't discredit him.
