you can get the proper one for a wrx, but get ready for the high probability of richness, raw fuel smell, and rough idling..

or go with one that's both mostly recirc, and partially vta..

It's in this thread, ALOT.. read up

Might not happen because she'd have to be made a Mod for the entire subforum that the BOV Thread is under. I only know because I tried already for the Blob-Eye Syndicate

But if I do a Cobb Stage I tune and add a HKS SSQV BOV, will that cause any problems?

It could. Have you even read about the effect that venting boost to atmosphere causes with Subarus? (apparently, no).. Air is metered/measured as it passes through the Mass Airflow sensor. Then, the ecu calculates the fuel delivery based on that (and a bunch of other factors) and dumps the required fuel for the given air reading.. Now, once you dump that metered air out, via a BOV, the fuel calculation has already been made, and appropriate amount dispensed. The problem is now there's nowhere near the same amount of air, so there's now too much fuel, causing a really rich condition..

Well, I read it but I thought maybe tuning it will fix that problem. So not even a tune can fix the problem a BOV gives to a subaru?

A tune can't necessarily resolve AFR issues from a BOV because when you tune, you tune a map overall for your powerband during a full pull over the entire RPM range. When tuning, there is no way what so ever to know exactly when you are going to shift and at what times, so its virtually impossible to tune for it.

If you're now willing to tune, get an intake and leave the stock BPV.
