puttin a BOV on your stock wrx will make it run rich. A bov will be inefficient boosting under around 20psi with a tune. Stay away from BOV's and aftermarket intakes unless you have supporting mods and a tune along with installment.

    Meh.

That's not true. There is nothing wrong with a good aftermarket intake and a BoV cannot tuned for. The rich problem isn't that bad. You may just wear down your cats or foul a plug. The biggest problems with BoVs is that most of them tend to leak, require maintance/setup, and they attract negative attention.

You can't tune a BOV without using autronic or hydra.

And the rich problem can ruin cats, foul plugs, cause cylinder wash, and theoretically break down piston rings.

hmm, that makes sense. cf would disperse the vented air better.

actually, i wonder if i could like redirect the venting through a split line hose, and have it shoot out the corners of my (cf hood) scoop. like nostrils.

I was planning on buying a bottle of nitrous oxide, then put the injectors through my scoop so I could turn it on, and look like a dragon!!

I'm also going to splice a fuel line to my exhaust along with an additional spark plug, so I can have 5ft long fire balls!!!

might melt your bumper with a 5ft long fireball. it might be better if you could shorten it to like 3ft instead. install the spark plug further back, like where the o2 sensor usually goes in your dp. that should do the trick.

i like the breathing dragon idea. ooooo, i know. when you hit the dragon breathing nitrous switch, you should wire in a relay that flickers your hi-lows really quick. so it looks like the 'eyes' are glaring and stuff.
