Technically, it doesn't connect to the "car".. the inlet bolts to the intercooler, via a odd-shaped flange. The outlet is a slip-fit to a hose, going to the turbo's inlet.

    Hello all....

This is my 1st post in months due to my father's passing....and I haven't read all 10k+ posts yet...I am putting a more free flowing top mount intercooler on,and am going to keep the factory BOV,I have 114k on the car...Is there any maintanence that I can do to it while it's off,as far as cleaning,adjustment,modifications..etc...I do not want to do anything to harsh chemicalwise, and if I need to get any parts before I have it all apart, that would be helpful too, even if it means getting a new factory one just to know it will be ok.....Thank you

693 pages, It's a safe bet that the ssq is in there..

bottom line, they suck for a subaru, or any metered-air car, for that matter.

recirc is the only (safe) way to go.

    blow off valve

what is the difference between each of these:
-Perrin Blow Off Valve. Recirc SS.
-Perrin Blow Off Valve. Vent to Air.
-Agency Power Blow Off Valve. 50/50.

    which one is better?

One recirculates the air back into the intake tract. One vents the air to the atmosphere. One does a little of both. The stock one is better than all three. If you must waste your money get the recirc. Also, do some research on your own before you write the check.

+1 stock bpv, unless you plan on boosting over 20psi then you should look into a new bov.

It would be pretty pointless since stock ones work how they are supposed to and are good to about 20psi. If you up the boost past there, then look into a BOV

The MAF and ECU are pretty touchy when it comes to metered air...so why bother screwing around with it?
