    Kawshon,

I'm with you 100% on the BOV. I liked the sound of my GFB 50/50 - but the car would run funny. I LOVED the sound of your SSQV - but if it made the car less fun to drive - to heck with it.

I like the way your Greddy sounts. PRETTY darned quiet, maybe a bit louder than my Prodrive - but looks more "import racer-ish" which is the in thing now.

My VF30 made my exhaust WAY louder too. Weird, huh?

Does anyone have any recommendations on an exhaust. i am looking for something that is not pricey and gives a nice low growl, and that is insinuating i want to add good hp. Or any other components that i could use that would give hp and a good sound.

    Stock BOV >18psi

When boosting more than 18psi, is it time to get an aftermarket BOV

I've seen 18-18.5psi in 4th gear in my VF30 equipped car and I don't think I'm losing any boost to the stock bypass valve. I have heard it's good to more than 20psi...

No it isn't. I pressure tested my ic system (hoses, IC, and BOV) and the stock bov does NOT leak even at 20-22psi. It's dead silent. I did try an aftermarket BOV at those levels and it leaked badly.

Had to tell someone about it!!!

    Cheers,

Andrew, notice any performance drop off? I would love a BOV that doesnt lose the performance like most are reported to do.

    Andrew,

congrads on your new toy. I also have a Forge 100% BOV and love it. Not to loud, not to soft..........just right, and fully rebuildable too.

Same here. I've gone back and forth a few times and notice no drop off in performance. That is according to my precise butt dyno calculation. I was curious myself, heard some bad rumors about running 100%. It's all good and I love the blowoff sound.
