Well, what you stated says that you actually want to get a Bypass valve (BPV). Then, yes it will be ok. This is actually the current set-up you have

If it is that psssh sound that you want, I would recommend keeping the stock BPV and getting a short ram intake (SPT, Cobb, K&N). That is the set-up I have on my car, and I assure you it is really loud both inside and outside the car.

That is the set-up I would recommend. Why buy an aftermarket BPV when the stock one works just as good? I think your money could be better spent elsewhere (like a new downpipe and a stage II flash...)

theres nothing wrong with your stock BPV. if youre looking for sound, get a short ram intake/drop in filter/intake silencer delete

whats more important, the longevity of your engine/your performance.. or having a TOTALLLY RAD PSSSHHHH sound?

The it is technically not a BOV, it's a BPV. There is no air being "blown off" to the atmosphere, so it is doing the same thing that the stock one is doing. This is just speculation, but I'm pretty sure that the hks one will not give you a significantly different sound from the stock one if you still have the stock airbox and silencer.

Would it be ok? Yes. Is it pretty much the exact same thing that you have on your car now? Yes. Would it be a big waste of money? YES! Buy a short-ram intake instead, you'll here the spool up of the turbo too.

Without the short ram, I speculate that it will sound almost the exact same as your current set up is.

Here is my recommendation. Try the silencer delete (take out the intake silencer in your passenger side front fender). If that isn't loud enough for you, get a reputable short ram intake.

Your money can be better spent on other things besides the hks.

you dont have to tune your car for an intake, unless you want to actually get power gains.

As long as you get one with the same inner diameter as the current stock one, you'll be fine. I would go with either SPT, Cobb, or K&N (I have the K&N). They all work great and have zero problems.

It only took what 4 posts or so to convince you that a BOV is not what you want/need.

It will be okay if you use one of the 3 I mentioned earlier.

I'm not sure if slapping will work, it might require some nuts and bolts...
