He had bought this car from an Acura dealer, and it came with an aftermarket BOV...He said the "A/F" gauge has been reading Rich the whole time, so he's getting a stocker again.

Hey I don't think I ever got an answer to my question in the other thread...did you run the wires to see if your A/F gauge was actually hooked up?

no i didnt mike but i dont need to, i getting horrible gas milage so the im pretty sure the gauge is right, about 130 miles with a quarter tank left!

This is absolutely driving me crazy... i have been searching for a type s for a while now cause i love the sound...finally got one. Once installed i couldnt believe how quiet it was... this does not sound like any of the type s's i've heard. I have done all adjustments i could. if too loose crappy idle and dies....too tight and mostly flutter. There is hardly any chirp to it. Almost sounds like the RS (yes this is authentic type s). Any ideas anyone?
BTW I have a brand new RS for sale $100+ ship.

okay so i picked up an APS dual vent BOV for crazy cheep... ive ran several other bov on MY04... 100% atmospheric, 50/50, re-circulating.... perrin, gfb, AP, turbo XS, greddy... ive heard the APS on a members car and i love it...so heres the problem... im currently running the APS BOV recirculating... i wanna run it atmosphic but when i hooked it up my car ran such a rough idle that it would constantly die out... i know im running pretty rich now... but all the other atmospheric BOV never ran this rough.. any ideas? ive tried adjusting the tension on the BOV already but it's still too rough
