    Just get a Cobb SF intake. It won't screw with your MAF, and it'll sound cool. However, I'm not sure if Cobb has OK'd them for use on the 08's yet. Anybody know?

    the 2008 intake by Cobb comes out at the end of this month.

    with a bov on a stock turbo is it true even if you get a tune you still will be running rich?

    Yes, with or without a tune you run rich between shifts.

    simple explanation:

    1) MAFS measures X amount of airflow
    2) ECU says "use Y amount of fuel"
    3) You go to shift into next gear
    4) BOV lets out certain amount of air to atmosphere
    5) Y amount of fuel still gets injected, but less than X air goes in

    There is no way to stop that.

    With a BPV, the air that would of been released in step 4 gets put back through the intake, so the total air/fuel ratio is the same.

    No ECU tune can compensate for this.
