For those that want a BOV with out the problems, look at the TurboSmart daul port. I install one 2 weeks ago after my STI BPV didn't like the 22 psi anymore. It will give you the sound you want, while keeping the ECU happy.
Just let me say for the record, that the stocker worked well at 18 psi, and the STI help 22 psi for a while. I needed more for my race gas map the goes to 28 psi.

so lets say i disconnect the vacuum hose from the BOV what would happen?
No boost reading?
I've disconnected my vacuum line and still felt the boost.
i dont have a gauge, but the car instantly starts to run lean, or atleast idle lower...
